Chaos and conflicts on the chessboard !!!
A game of chess is about giving your opponent problems. If you don't give them, you'll eventually receive them ! Choose uncompromising Openings, play strategical and at the same time attack oriented Middlegame. And if your opponent was really good ? Then the Endgame will be a battle of wits, precision and creativity ! On with our Game of the Day !
NM Robert Shlyakhtenko - NM Ruben Ondangan
1.e4 Nf6 !? (Didn't I tell you to play uncompromising Opening ? 😂 Then the Alekhine fits the bill !)
2. e5 Nd5 3.d4 d6 4.c4 Nb6 5.ed6 cd6 (The notorious Exchange Variation ! I was not surprised as most Repertoire books have recommended it.)6. Nc3 g6 7.Be3 Bg7 8.Rc1 0-0 9.b3 Nc6 10.Nf3 (I strongly believe that 10.d5 is the line that gives Black players a lot of headaches.) Bg4 11.Be2 e5 12.de5 de5 13.0-0 (White should probably exchange Queens ...) Qc8 ! 14.h3 Rd8 15.Nd5 Be6 16.Nxb6 (Saddling Black with weak doubled and isolated pawns on b6) ab6 17.Qc2 ?! Bf5 18.Qb2 ?? (Mistakes do come in bunches ... sigh) e4 19.Qc2 ( God save the Queen !) ef3 20.Bd3 Bxd3 21. Qd1 fg2 22.Kxg2 Be4 + 0 - 1 Enough is enough ! 😁
I hope everyone finds this game entertaining and maybe instructive in some way ? Ha ha ha ... 👍
